Designer’s view... Designer’s approach... it’s always been a bit different.. not because they are trained to do so but it develops a vision. Being an Interior Designer, I do have a certain way of looking at things, analyzing in a peculiar manner, working in mind about the various possibilities, considering options, taking risks with colors, attempting the “not so trendy” look..
I’m writing this mostly for the people who assume they have it in them n create things accordingly but even though they think so, my assumption on the same would be different.. I know that there are a lot many creative brains n creative minds working.. I'm not saying people aren't enough creative..
but its more like to fix a dental prob u need a dentist..
to fix a home you need an Interior Designer.. may be people have an approach of not considering a designer, that’s cause mainly the fees.. the unduly reputation that a designer doesn't listen to the clients “likes”.. somehow its very difficult to address such mentality.. again as u trust your doc about your health issues, try trusting the designer you hired.. cause he’ll know what you exactly want..
He/She has the tools to get your dreams into reality, has the vision.. the sense of color co ordination, the arrangement strategy.. the awareness of storage.. the sense of detailing.. n yeah an easy way to execute, I mostly see people who have an habit of buying things for their homes.. you go in store, like something.. buy it!!!! you go for vacation buy there some sort of souvenir.. place it in your home.. well.. I too like buying things for my home, love to collect souvenirs but.. I do keep in mind how it all will look.. because I know what I have back home, and how can this add up to my existing scenario..
